The second State Level Committee meeting

The second State Level Committee meeting on Standardisation was held on 14th May at 3pm at the conference hall of Chief Secretary, Odisha. The meeting was chaired by Shri Manoj Ahuja IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha and Additional Chief Secretary Industry & MSME Shri Hemant Sharma IAS & Shri Sanjay Singh IAS, Principal Secretary Food Supply and Consumer, Government of Odisha Welfare Participated. The Presentation of Standardisation was made by Shri A.K Purohit Senior Director &Head Bureau of Indian Standards. The Chief Secretary invited suggestions from Industry Associations. UCCIL was represented by Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd.UCCIL demanded to set up Quality testing labs in various Industrial Estates in Odisha and also to hold Awareness Workshops in collaboration with major Industrial Associations like UCCIL. The meeting ended with Vote of Thanks to Chair.
