on 17th January at 11am President UCCIL Dr Prabodh Mohanty along with Hony Secretary UCCIL Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra called on His Excellency The Governor of Odisha Shri Hari babu khambampati at Lok Bhawan
The President UCCIL Dr Prabodh Mohanty handed over 200 nos of Foropters to His Excellency The Governor of Odisha which will be distributed in the Remote Tribal villages at Mayurbhanj District by Red Cross Society of India wherein Eye Screening could be carried out in these handy machines
President Dr Prabodh Mohanty also requested the Honble Governor to urge upon the Government to develop industrial clusters at different strategic locations of Odisha and also common facility centres to support MSMEs at large
Honble Governor stated he already had an meeting with ACS Industry Department in this regard and assured he would carry it forward and involve UCCIL as a catalyst
His Excellency The Governor of Odisha also stated in his discussion that a Team from UCCIL must visit Vizag to see the Functioning of the Pharma clusters
The meeting went on for about 30 minutes and was very fruitful.
